Did some more Christmas shopping today!

Ordering some new diapers tomorrow!
I can’t decide if this is a Christmas present for me or for Sophia, since I’m the one all excited about it. :) I’m buying three Flip covers off of a friend of mine and ordering 15 unbleached prefolds to use with them. I’ve never used prefolds before but I’m really excited to try them out. :)

Sophia prefers to put herself to sleep these days.
I used to hold her and rock her/feed her to sleep for every single nap and at bedtime. But lately she’s been holding her own bottle, and fighting me if I try to hold it for her, or even hold her period. Took Sophie to the doctor today.
Last night we noticed that her left eye kept getting goop in the corner, and this morning when she woke up it was matted shut. I called and got an appointment in our doctor’s office, but our regular doctor wasn’t there so we had to see some other guy. I didn’t like him. Sophia slept from 7:30 pm to 8:00 am.
Success! She fell asleep on her daddy last night and we moved her into our bed around 8:30. When we went to bed at 11 she woke up and we fed her and then she was back out until 8 this morning. New record, I think! :)

Changing my major from Elementary Education to...
I don’t know why I ever thought Elementary Education would be good for me. I hate being in a classroom where I have to force a bunch of good kids to sit down and shut up for 8 hours a day and stifle all of their natural curiosity and creativity. Good thing I plan to home school.
