We've decided to start trying for baby #2 in the summer. :)
Possibly. And we might be getting married in the late summer/fall, because we want to be married before our next child is born and we want our kids to be about two years apart. I’m really excited. I can’t wait to have my home birth and give Sophie a little brother or sister. :)
I should mention...
That smash cake was Sophie’s first real experience with sweets. We normally don’t give her cookies or cake or anything like that. At first, she didn’t know what to do with it. She was cautious, like “Am I allowed to touch this?” Then once she realized she was supposed to dig in, she didn’t really know she was supposed to actually eat it. So I stuck my finger in the icing and then in her mouth. And she shuddered and was like “Whoa! Sugar rush!” Then she took a couple more bites, made a huge mess, and kept offering handfuls of cake to people standing nearby. Hahaha :)
At this time one year ago, I was at the hospital preparing to have my baby girl.
Happy first birthday Sophia Lynn! You’ve changed my life for the best. I love you more than anything. <3
Got Sophie her own little potty! Going to attempt to do EC at home. :)
Ohh and while I was putting it together she snuck in the kitchen and starting eating leftover cookie cake from Valentine’s Day - her face and shirt are now covered in chocolate. It’s gonna be a loong night haha!

My little girl will one in a week!!
We got our apartment!
We moved in Tuesday night and spent our first night here.
I have tons and tons of unpacking to do and there are boxes everywhere.
But we have a home! :D
Sophia LOVES her new room (and the kitchen, and the dining room, and the living room, and our bedroom… she loves the whole dang place, LOL). And I got my walk-in closet, although I’m already running out of room in there. I’m wondering how in the heck we ever fit all this crap into one room at his parent’s house.

Andddd Bret's back at work.
He got 11 stitches in his thumb and the doctor said it will *probably* all be sewn back together, but to watch out in case one side turns black because that would mean it’s dead. But he’s so stubborn that he insisted on going back to work tonight. -.-
I’m making him take off tomorrow though, he needs to recover. :/

Got Sophie her first birthday presents!
We got her a big Ariel doll and a bunch of clothes, including a Hello Kitty dress. And I got her a hand puppet that she loves. This is just the tip of the iceberg, lol! ;)
Oh and we get to move in to our apartment Wednesday! :)
What a gorgeous day to celebrate Imbolc!
Taking Sophia to the park when I get home from school. This whole week has been just beautiful weather, it’s so refreshing. :)
