I finally got my engagement and wedding rings sized (not that I can wear the marriage one yet. But they’re a set). We *might* get a house!
My grandpa buys houses and rents them to people. He knows we want a house so that we can have a yard for the kids to play in; as they get older we’re going to need a yard so we can get a swing set, sand box, kiddie pool, etc. for them. Our apartment is nice but it sucks having to drive to the park every time we want to spend time outside.

Took Sophie to the pool today!
And for the first time all summer, she actually got in the water! LOL! She usually just stands at the edge and splashes or sits down and puts her feet in the water, but is too scared to actually get in. Today she did! And she loved it! It just took some time to let her get comfortable with going in the water. :) But we had to leave for nap time because she was rubbing her eyes and getting sleepy,...

Oh yeah and I'm measuring 14 cm. :)
At least I’m consistent, LOL! All throughout my pregnancy with Sophia, I measured a week behind with my fundal height, and now I’m doing the same thing with this pregnancy! Last appointment, at 11 weeks, I measured 10 cm. :P

Baby's heart rate was 156! :)
It took FOREVER to get though. My placenta has developed a lot more since my last appointment, and is apparently right in the front of my uterus - no worries about placenta previa! But my midwife had to manipulate the doppler around the strong whooshes of the placenta to hear baby’s heart beat. Every time she found it, baby would move to a new position and we’d have to start all over!...

And not only is my mom coming, my brother’s coming along for the ride! Haha:)

Bret has to work tomorrow and Andi (my best friend/doula) doesn’t have a babysitter. So it looks like I’m stuck going to my midwife appointment alone! I’m trying to talk my mom into going with me but she’s very against the home birth thing and doesn’t even want to meet them. :(
My poor girl.
She’s got a fever, fussiness, sleepiness, the works. This tooth #7 is really taking it out of her. I’m thinking maybe there’s more than one coming in, but she won’t let me near her mouth to check. She’s just laying on daddy’s chest right now and chewing on a frozen teether.

I miss Bret.

I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night, between saying goodbye to Bret (lol) and then having to be up at 6 AM to drop him off. It’s showing too. Under my eyes looks awful. I need some concealer. :/

So my daughter was being a butt.
And I couldn’t figure out why at first. She’s been trying to bite me the past few days, and she never bites. Then today she wouldn’t eat breakfast and she was just being cranky and kinda mean.
So I went poking around in her mouth and discovered tooth #7 about to break through the gums! :D
That explains everything. I’d be a butt too if my teeth hurt.

The past few days..
Sophie’s schedule has been way out of whack.
Remember how I said she’d been waking up at 9 in the morning-ish and taking a nap around 1 every day? Well forget that. Ever since I said that, she’s been waking up at 7-7:30 and napping at 10:30-11.
